Message to all cadets

All cadets

As of this year 2009

all training will be based on FOCC
F- Fitness
O- Operational skilfully
C- Confidence
C- Cohesion

Guidelines
1) All cadets are advised to turn up 30minutes before training starts...
For example, if the time for FALL IN is at 8.30am for saturday training, all cadets are expected to gather around the FALL IN area at 8am sharp

2) If you are sick or unfit for training, or have reasons as to not being able to make it for a particular day's training..please inform your platoon sergeant or ask your friends to tell your platoon sergeant 2 days before the training so that they can do some adminstrative arrangement for you.

2.1) If you are sick, please get a medical certificate and pass it to your platoon sergeant on the following training on the following week.
should you have other reasons for not being able to make it to training, please get your parents to write an excuse letter and pass it to your platoon sergeant on the following week 's training

3) All cadets are to bring their full no.4 s for every training unless stated otherwise
the full no.4 set will include your no.4 shirt and pants, boots, gutters, beret and jockey cap

4) All cadets are also required to bring writing materials and green army water bottle for every training
which include 2 exerise book, one for note-taking, the other for reflection and a pen or pencil

5) Cadets are advised to eat their breakfast before they come down for saturday training
and for other weekday training, cadets are also advised to eat something before training

6) Do remember to drink up and make sure your bottle is filled to the brim

Expectations for cadets
Be initative
- Fall in yourself without being asked to
- Elect a standby IC for the platoon before the platoon sergeant comes
Be discplined
- Watch your code of conduct(how you behave in different situations)
- Always listen to your platoon sergeant and the specialists
- Do not wonder around without permission
- Do not talk back to any specialists.
[If you think the specialists are in wrong, issue this to them during debrief, or talk to the SMs.]
Care for your fellow platoon mates
- Help one another out
- Remind each other to come for training
- Never leave someone behind...move as a platoon
Come to every training with a positive learning attitude
Leave all your personal problems outside of NCC
Uphold the brotherhood you have in each and everyone of your platoon and company
